i am not criticising the current sotd system (ok maybe i am .. lol .. but i am not saying that i have any brilliant ideas on a better one :) ) ..
but i do think it is a real shame that images like this with almost 100 plus views need huge amounts of votes to stand any chance.

:( .. sometimes i yearn for the old system :)
if i could vote again i would :)

yea, thanks.

actually I tried to make one with a back of broken 450.

But actually I think I tried too much precise with too much cheap materials.

Because I made a 30mm focal with 0.22mm hole one. And the "box" I made to put all this on the pola back seems to have inside reflects... so the images are quite weird, even if the angle is hyperwide. The results are overexposed whites and too dark black parts...

Think I'll try again with a bigger hole (for a rectangle film pack format) like 0.4mm and a longer focal length.

^
Sounds like you know what you're doing! The EE66 that I converted has a focal length of approx 77.5mm from pinhole to film plane. The diameter of the hole I made was .25mm so according to the calculations of focal length/diameter the f-stop on this is 310! They're lots of fun!

Hei!

Did u make your pinhole pola yourself...?

btw great pictures.

^
Thank you polkadots. Yes, I made the pinhole polaroid camera that this (and the other rectangular format) shots were taken with in this series. You can see how by clicking the link to my video tutorial (in the tip part of these pinhole polaroid uploads)
Cheers!
