we always try our best but some things just cannot be jumped over (as i'd say in polish). i've just tried monitor calibration at work and probably made the thing even worse...

^ maybe your boss asked the (not-charming in this case) admin to hide a little script for results like that, to keep you working? ;-)

i guess, it's more about how my brain remembers things that the scan or/and screen.
and what i meant when i said about reading and listening was that after speaking to you in person when i read you know my brain connects written words with your way of speaking, accent, melody, expression... you talk enough, worry not :o)

^ btw, you were right: colors don't match on the calibrated screen. grr, didn't remember my travel laptop that off. tallinas more intense, lomo more sx-70 alike, wodka better blue, this more blue than green, beach even more pastell, karin more yellow and intense - you are quite the same :-). on the other side - i wonder whose screen is calibrated anyway. but hate not to have done the best.

i remember this picture in a bit different way. might be the reason of lovely latvian beer and/or overexcited brain. it's still a good one with mystical atmosphere. meeting you added a new level in looking at your photos. reading what you write is more like really listening you. plus i know the places and (a few) people you photograph...

^ hehe. thanks! I had the same feeling when I worked on the scan, and had a closer look to the original - it really is like how it is (at least on this screen, will be able to tell exactly back home at calibrated one). I guess that only adds to the mystique...how memories are, gazing..
