Bravo with this series. Fantastic portraits. But tell me: are these youths protecting or terrorizing the hillside population? Are they ruthless brigands? Merry bandits? Or fearless, noble liberators?

So many wonderful things come to mind looking at these: La guerre des boutons, of course, and also Twain's Huck Finn, and Truffaut's Les Mistons, and Roxaboxen ...
