^ Ah no - it's a helter skelter. A tall slide. The thing curving round the outside is the slide...you climb up using stairs inside the tower, and slide down again.

Great subject! I completely forgot to reply to your previous comment to me (on one of my Blackpool pics) - it seems we share a taste for seaside naffness... :-)

^ There is nothing, nothing like seaside nafness. And blackpool is the epicentre of all seaside naffoisity, I think. Only - when I went it was a foggy day in January, so results were disappointing! Brighton is a bit more up-market...
