Wow, i don't fully understand the picture. Are thos real people? They look like little figures.

^ Yes, they're real people in a rowing eight (a long racing rowboat). The boat is obscured by a concrete beam. They're rowing under a bridge made of curved concrete beams. It's all the more confusing because the early morning light is reflected up from the water so the lighting comes from below and the shadows run upwards.
