this is a real good portrait, speaking a lot without words. (the framing, the dog at that point, just awesome).
I ask myself if the fact you were taking pictures with a polaroid helped for this series?

I used 35 mm for portraits and other with my Pentax Asahi Spotmatic (negative color slide) and negative back that i have for my 600SE (medium format 6x9 b&w), and the hole time i was using my camera..so it was a lot of work..including Polaroid :) I like taking pictures with my Polaroid but i do have other cameras with me, always..
