She's really beautiful. I always like seeing pictures of my parents before I was born. For some reason, I haven't quite worked it out, there's something poignant about them.

^ I totally agree. We hardly imagine having a life without them, and for this reason I guess, we harly imagine them having had a life without us.... that is having been young.
