interesting stuff... probably v important over next few year too. i'm afraid genetics is beyond me! most of my work is in the communciation aspects of conservation and the environment. for instance i've just started editing and publishing a plant conservation magazine. but, on the ground i coordinate a rainforest project in N Argentina.

i read below you're an evolutionary biologist? what do you study? that was always my plan but then became wrapped up in conservation so it fell by the wayside.

^ I'm researching the evolution of malaria parasites at the moment, kind of trying to marry evolutionary genetics with medical research. Not really sure where i'm going with it to be honest.... What kind of conservation?
