I appreciate your thoughts and comments and response. Indeed we all like to have a bit of attnetion about our work --- but I was thinking that maybe there is this new community of people who are migrating over from Flickr where, if I am right about this, there seems to be more comments laid and less response to the comments back from the artists -- maybe..... whereas this site was much different then that in the older days. But as long as there are those out there who contribute then the day is a good one. Keep instant!

You are right about the pixviews. If you check the most viewed pictures you will see that no picture has more than 300+ distinct views. Most of polanoiders upload their polas and wait for comments/views/votes/favs but they don't seem to be interested in other people photos.
