Don't you just love those Polaroid shakers? The futility of it is somehow so endearing - like watching a baby chick peck it's brains out, trying to eat a painted grain. And wouldn't it be ace if Polaroid designed a "maracas" film that made an amusing rattling noise when shaken, just to encourage more of this?

^ Oh how VERY MUCH I love this maracas idea. Maybe just a few seeds puffed into the back . . .or one of those little music chips put into greeting cards - it can start playing as soon as the film ejects a little Latin American number. . .yes we will write Polaroid at once.
