good question. I looked in some books, the 100 shall do 10sec, the 340 20sec, the 350 30sec, most cheaper ones only 1sec. was curious about the 450 then, so I tried - but stopped after 3min.....wow.
thanks for not being able to move my thumb now ;-)

^ Cheers for the research g, i used a 440 for this one, and i'm sure the bottom shot was longer than 20 seconds. Having said that, it's hard to gauge time properly when you're standing on a road bridge with your thumb welded to a 1970's camera - time tends to drag a bit...

wow. great. did you cover the electric eye to get exposure this long?

^ no, not for these three - actually, for the longest one (bottom) i actually released the shutter myself, before the automatic timing kicked in. Do you know what the maximum time the shutter stays open on these old cameras?
