It is a phantastic photo.
But this is not super 8.
This is 8 mm, known also as normal or regular 8.
I know that you know this, but I just wanted to save the honour of my favourite film.

^ well spotted! of course, you are right - it is standard 8mm rather than super 8. this is a bit of mystery, as almost all of my grandfather's films are super 8, and the only cameras i have found are super 8 also. i may have to do some more searching, as i might unearth a standard 8 camera hidden away somewhere... thanks very much for your comment.

i love this! great colour, almost looks like a traditional 'bluetone' print... plus you cant beat super 8! such a cool image signature... v&f...
