what is a 180 going for? there is a camera store here that rents a 180--i knew then that it was out of my reach.

sorry, i paid an extra dollar (200,000 quid, i believe) for framing correction on my 230. i love my 230!

but i'll let you use it if i can try out the 180 or 195... the 600SE is only good for taking pics of kid's parties. like a disposable in that way.

^ oh. ok. well i've been watching some 180s and perhaps i won't be getting one. the price is quite ridiculous. maybe a japanese 185. but the original 185 sounds the one to have. the shang-ri-la of holy grail camera. why are you called my. iowa?

are you teasing? that's lovely! yes, of course i love it! the colors are amazing, and it feels warm--and there is a tree in the frame--what's not to love? ;)

^ no, not teasing. i do like the colours... thanks for the info on the EE100. unfortunately i'd just made the offer and it was accepted. 16 quid. about 1 million bucks right? i'm keen to buy more pack cameras this year and wanted to start with that one. next will be either a 100, 180,195, 230 (can you give me yours?, 355, or 360. and then i'll get a 1200$ 600SE. for the framing you understand.

how lovely this one is! reminds me of new england here...especially around christmastide, when the windows of saltboxes have one candle glowing. except the candles are electric, plug-in types...
