i don't know, i've been experimenting with both ways, you don't get the lovely blueish border if you do chop it off but i had more success in folding over edges and tearing bits off when i did - dilema!

haha my thought is i'm too much of a beginner with this to get too crazy right now. i'm trying to focus on not cutting the image to shreds hahaha

thanks patrick. i suck at these transfers. it's hard when you bite your nails to a point where you're unable to scrape/peel the emulsion off. oh well.
