I'm starting to think I can tell which pictures you're going to land on.

i love this serie. It makes me want to dive into those deep blue troubled waters, eat an octopus, have a cigar and make love to this lady, and then sit down at the piano and play The Ocean Doesn't Want Me in a bar, under the sea. v+f
^
Thank you. It's funny you should say that, as I was just hinking how nice it would be to
dive into a piano,
smoke upon an octopus
Make love to a beautiful ocean
And sing "A little rain
never hurt noone".

If you menace with hitting me with a Bockwurst, i'll have to call you german again.

It is risky business to swim in bodies of water with your dress on. It is always getting tangled with the little pathetic stumpy legs of sea turtles, and the invasive prickly masts of pirate ships poking up from below.

You can also catch cold, or many other more horrible diseases, because as any marine biologist will tell you, the ocean is a dirty dirty filthy mucky place filled with *plankton* and cooked spaghetti water that has been dumped off Italian cruise ships.

But people with red hair and spectral genes are okay. They can frolic endlessly. They can even drown themselves poetically, if they want to. No matter what they do, in the ocean, in their white dress, it will be extremely beautiful.

^
I hope this wasn't just some elaborate way of calling me a gingernut. I am still brandishing a bockwurst, and I am not afraid to use it.

I am chestnut and I shall defend my right to be chestnut until the ocean turns to curacao.

wow another wonderful work of, hmmm- dare i say it. art.

snap shot- thought out- glorified or not, this i like.

double exposure? how so

just to clarify, wonderful!

^
Thank you. I think perhaps it must be classed as art. But only because, if it was (f)-art, I would expect to see a lot more bubbles.

It came from an image that was floating around in my head: a woman walking into the ocean in a white dress, becoming immersed, looking calm and purposeful as if she knew where she was going, never turning back; just walking steadily in and making the observer want to follow her unthinkingly. I get the feeling that she is acting as if she were alone, but really, she feels that someone is behind her.

I made this out of two layers. On the bottom picture, I am walking into the sea. The top layer (which I cut open and then washed to make it transparent in the right places) was a picture of just sea water.

I had no idea exactly how it would come out. The originals look deeper and sort of Victorian.

This is the longest time you stayed in the water, right? Crazy germans with your crazy customs...

(I would vote, but the truth is that i already did yesterday)
(And by the way, this is truly poetic, Esther)

^
Thanks Uri. You know I don't believe in washing machines. And if you call me a German again, I will hit you with a Bockwurst.

i thought i'd written on this... did you delete the swear word??

sorry....

have another voteicle

love it

^
Well I certainly never saw anything. Perhaps there is some new system that automatically deletes obscenities. Shall I try it?

^
Hm, nothing happening. Maybe it needs to be louder.

Hey, everybody, hey, I'm going to use the c-word!

CUNT! CUUUUUNNNNNTTTT!!!

^
Nope. Seems fine to me.
