What a wooonderful & special-looking shop window. Like from another era. Every object looks so interesting and interestingly strange & different from the normal blah blah blah you see in boring 2007 shop windows. No no, this seems to be a charmed window, and one I can easily imagine coming to life late at night once the owner has closed up. (This is my criteria for a good window display.)
And speaking of wonderment and wonderfulness, I think that this is the most wonderful Polaroid I have seen in my young life. Yes. For what it is worth.

" coming to life late at night once the owner has closed up"
I love that.
I tell you a secret: kanarin has some good friends. here, and in Riga. And though we know, Kanarin can't speak ( »link ), we know for sure, as soon as we leave the room, they will start to ask her and she will tell her stories of travelling. devotional. wild. silent.

thanks, p...(may i spell it as I read it?) pippi-pear
2007-11-12 // 09:35:54 joster Kanarin sure gets around! That is a wierd version of a dalecarlian horse ( »link ), guarded by brave Swedes, I gather? (And a mean-looking bulldog!)
Great to see you posting again!

oh, she does! and this time she met a lot of other similar species. I think it's always like that, when you think at somebody, you meet...well.
Swedes again? Hm. I'd say the shopowner loves the details then, hum? Fascinating. I remember you spotted a swedish flag in my Polas once immediately.
For the bulldog - maybe. but I more like to look at him as cute (look how he sits), and more as a tribute to miles »link
Hm. I love little fellows.
