great composition. sotd mat.

mat? you think so? no, I'd rather see it hanging on a wall than as used as a place mat for virtual thingies.

(I still don't know what to reply as you already had put all my thoughts -or no-word-thoughts- in just three words and I can't imagine any better, so any added word from me would just destroy what you have put on the point, I fear. So I simply leave - a simple 'thank you')

This is utterly perfect. Even the red of the border adds here, where I typically find that a bit trite. I'm going to have to score this at 99.995 out of a possible 100. Only reason you fail to achieve perfection is that I want to have something to hope for in this life.

Thanks for giving us this bit of magic.

^
I like your philosophy.
Thanks for both.

shhh...t, it wasn't i've just realised that :o) i know what typo is but i thought you meant "typical" (but said in short. i didn't know i do it often.
sorry. never done it on purpose. i promise :o) but you know, it happens, even to the best ones :o)
i've got to try hard now not to become a polish vodka smuggler :o)
ps. might be because i've been cleaning in my kitchen and had to get rid of a couple of nearly finished bottles... but had to finish them first.
good night, G. (that's safer)

HaHa! in capital letter now! you know that this is not safe at all! (though never intended, but Madame Lia stumbled upon it immediately once I entered-aargh- here). so: YOU say geraldino - with pleasure. anybody says gerlad(ino) - I would have to quote the brilliant Mr. DeNiro in Taxi Driver.
I have one last sip of that special polish vodka and I drink it to you now, Joannina :-) brilliant. shhh...t.

(btw-movietip: stardust. a.) really nice fairytale without big effects, b.) you can see mr. deniro really enjoyed playing his role..)

Do i really overuse that? Haven't realised.
Sorry, Gerald.
I'll get you an extra bottle of you-know-what to apologise :o)

^

Amazing. I can't stop admiring your need for experiments and what is the most important, the effects of them. This is my favourite but they work great as the whole set, too. her pose and expression is perfect. same the angle (angel :o).

chapeau bas, Gerladino!

^
:-) + ;-) + :-))

haven't heard that expression for a while. truly nice one.
(but pls, I _like_ when You say geraldino, but could you try to stop making that typo? gerlad is like, like.. if you do experiments just for itself - shiver..

No, unnerved is not the right word. My initial reaction looking from eyes to hand was blood. Maybe, for a moment, that scared me. & it passed. Mostly I'm watching, quietly happy, not sure what comes next, but feeling that what is happening here in DK on 15.08.07 is special.

...

Good. It has been entered ; )

I see her at four different stages in her life in these pictures. Child, young woman, woman, old woman (not *old* old, but older), not in that order. Maybe it is just me, in my silly head.

Here I can see her as a little girl. I'm enchanted by it. A little unnerved too.

^
unnerved, why?
not, it's not silly. beautiful view.
when we were finished, Lea asked me to send her a print of them. some days before she mentioned that one day, she'd like to have a real polaroid from me. I asked her which one she likes best of these four. she said this one. I wasn't sure which one I liked most for quite a while. difficult to say, if you take them, connotations that have to be withdrawn. later I knew she was damned right.
this is hers.

during the shooting (concentrated work, not much time, one choco messed up in the filmholder and I tried for a long time to rescue that precious, etc.) I at one time had to pause, look up from the groundglass, look to her and say -just honestly- that she can't see what I see, but that she's just incredibly beautiful.
when I told her that this one here is hers, after I have scanned it, she was enchantingly happy, proud, and said 'now, one day, I will be able to show my children how beautiful I've been when I was young'.

therefore, I really like what you saw and said.
