good one. i know who he is... and also wonder why he left. i wonder if you could get an explanation off someone who obviously knows him better (LiA, Carmen etcetc)... The whole site is quieter lately. I wonder if this is a result of WM leaving. Or just that time of year...

i'm glad that you've posted this, as i've just noticed that this picture has disappeared from my friends list, and all his favlinks have gone. i hope that, though leaving must have been a terribly hard decision to make, it has been something of a cathartic relief for him. in other words, i hope it was the right thing to do... i wish him well...

i feel bad seeing he's no more on the 'about us' section of polanoid !
i feel worst knowing nothing about the whole stuff .. aren't we concerned ??

^ i too feel sad. i also miss him on the 'about us' section - that's one reason i posted this image - so he'll always be here. i'll be concerned until i'm told i shouldn't be. i trust that he's doing what is best for himself and know that he's leaving us in capable (if not as visible) hands. doc cares about us too.

^ bonkers? the question is - how do you feel about this particular polaroid? good? bad? indifferent? apparently most viewers feel indifferent. maybe they don't know who this icon is.

^ thanks Dimitris. i wanted to say goodbye in a visual way & decided to do this shot. the last thing WM did for me was to remove the voting option from my photos. it's the comments that really matter to me (pear & sixblueten have also opted for this non-voting profile). as far as i know pear was the first to request this option. i'd much rather hear what others think and feel about the polaroids that i post than receive an award generated by a computer algorithm. perhaps if more members opt for this scenario we'll generate more dialogue. i'll keep my fingers crossed - for a while. ;)
