Ah I love these kind of love stories :-)
Yes, I'll keep it in mind, I will probably finish studies next year in June, if all goes right, I could do a moth in Australia before settling in NYC after (or London, depending on how it goes)
Thanks so much for sharing!

I would love to do that for a month or so. Maybe after I finish my studies.
Thanks for the insight!
You met your lover there? :-)

^
I met him in perth the night before he left for this place. started as long distance... spoke everyday. Then said fuck it and came with. I've stayed for about 5 or so months now. Hard muscle type work but worth it. I'd put in a good word for ya, when you want. Be great to have another artist around. [community of 30 or less changing faces per swing.]

and how much do you get from it and how lng hours you spend there?
Is it your fixed jobs?

^
Depending on how long you stay to work, you can live on site. Get reasonable pay and not need to spend it on food, etc. There's a chef! 10 hour work days, 10 days a swing and 4 days off. You meet interesting people and get to do heaps of secluded activities. You get to enjoy life without cellphones... haha. it's a life experience.

wow, sounds interesting indeed!
What tasks does one have to do for example?

^
I'm the weather observer for the bay and he drives boats. All sorts of random tasks. You get to see first hand where pearls start from before they're polished and sent to jewelry stores. Pretty fascinating but hard work. Heaps of backpackers come in to try something different.
