Well it's not always up to you, you have to do what I tell you because I'm your Captain... now back to work dog!
Is that just a photo from your tv screen? It's so clear.

well, i forgot to say: finally it's always up to you what you do with the pola. 'cause it's yours. don't feel compelled to do anything you don't like

since this picture is really replicable, you should not hasitate altering it. if you don't like it afterwards you just don't show it.

-and from my experience i can tell you this: you arive at a good result very easily. when you go further the picture gets worse, but if you still go further with it, it becomes better than the first good version. this kind of process that is no easy way, but very rewarding. and its allways a mixture of fight and play. some of my pictures take up to 6 month working on them occassionally until i'm satisfied.

-and yes i can see your point, it's a very good expression on the stalkers face. i like the movie too, but never succeeded in watching it all through, but only piece by piece.

english version: this is really a good picture, but it's not yours. Alexander Knjaschinski shot it and you simply duplicated it from a screen.

now, do something with it. work on it, paint it, scratch it, cut it - do something to make it your own picture, because duplicationg is too simple - and boring too.

i don't mean to offend you, but simply want to encourage you to go a bit further.

i did not mean to hide the reference at all, but I should credit knjaschinski. i understand your point of view, and in a way, i guess you are right. it's my first screenshot and I was expected this kind of reactions. my first idea was just to capture that one moment i really like, which is probably a boring idea. probably i should alter the picture in any personal way, to truly make it mine, but i also fear it could appear as something pretentious, easier (to drift apart from the references) and harder (because by altering the risk is damaging). plus i am not very familiar with collages, writings and so on. thanks for your words.q

i'm sorry for the confusion, but i can't speak german. would you please translate either in English or in French?
