Ravishing pencils, my dear. I enjoy the illusion of motion. They look like a glorious multi-colored field of wheat or tall grass swaying in front of the house.

Talk to me about the picture within the picture. I like the color palette. By color palette I mean color palette.

^ P I picked up that painting in Santa Fe, a frequent haunt ..I have no idea who the artist is but I really loved the color and the geometry.The technique also good. It reminded me of the Okeefe on the famous Walker Art Center Poster. Also it came with a gold leaf frame which flakes when you touch it.. I am, as you can see from this site, rather obsessed with color,have been dince early childhood. Hence the colored pencils. I kind of related them to the pciture. Like they fit there. I like your allusion to a field. Not intentional. Anyway the primaries in the landscape are always attractive and I never get tired of this work.. have had it since mid nineties. You weren't even born yet.Ha.
