ah, you'll work out the site soon enough. there are a few ways to interact... all are good. you can either comment on a picture like this, write a guestbook message (like you already have!), write publicly in the newsfeed by pressing the people tab or write a decription of why you like a shot by the photos you fav link. i'm not too sure how many people read those though... you can read what others have written by hovering the cursor over the different 'noiders names who have fav linked a piccy.... phew. that's it.

or you can just vote with your fingers. like i just did. everyday the pic with the most votes per views wins shot of the day. it's a quite interesting, but complicated, diversion form the main act of chatting and it can cause lots of friction. i don't know why. you can see Sotd by clicking the big POLANOID bar at the top of your page.

but it is a great spiritual home for those that love instant pics, so you'll fit right in quite nicely.
