Guess I'll have to try getting closer with my 680. Also have the Spectra kit but have yet to rock it.

^ get as close as you can. touch them if you have to. close is truth. distance is lies.

I will never again forget! Are you using a close-up lens on the 680?

^ no need, it just naturally focuses this close. though i have taken to using a close-up kit for my spectra. changed my life.

looking at thumbnails, i always wonder "is that louobedlam or defekto? then i remember that defekto uses the spectra and it all comes clear - like Ginny's eyeball.

^ don't forget, tod, i get closer than defekto. literally, i can focus at 10 inches. i'm all up in folks' grills. defekto gives people a healthy distance. i tend to get the "dude, too close" from all my subjects.
