2008-01-22 // 00:27:50 g. ah, dropdownmenu above the 'search for tags': projects. though, it's also a tag in the end. needs a bit to get into the functionality of the site, but then you will realize it's damned clever and simple. btw, the partly solarization i mentioned also appears within the chocolate process (project choco4x5), but in the positive.
and thanks!
2008-01-21 // 23:17:57 g. thanks for the tip. i know b&h, but absolutely had not thought about the fact it's an option now due to the weak dollar. be sure yourself to order some 667 next time as well, this film is really special. hard to describe - parts may solarize, parts don't, sometimes complety, sometimes you nearly have a positive, sometimes only a neg. depends on factors as age, light and exposure, as dev.time. just look around here a bit to get an idea what I try to explain, there are also some in my gallery tagged with 667inv as a project, booombooom, inkaust and hologramme also have remarkable examples. best, gerald

Thanks, yes I will try it out next time I order.. :)
Will check out the links you mention too, thanks.. tried to find the 667inv tag you mentioned, but when I search your gallery with 667 or 667inv I get no results.. strange. You have many great shots!
2008-01-21 // 18:59:35 g. you're lucky to live there... :-)
beautiful view.
(I could never get hand on the fuji3000, looks like it has more detail but does never partial solarize?)

Thanks,
I am really quite new to polaroid, only ever having used it in the studio on my hasselblad for proofing purposes... However I use disgital every day in my studio now, so I shoot film mainly for pleasure now... never tried to get it to solarize, this film has very quick developing time, around 15 seconds.. so I think one would have to peel it apart nearly as soon as it was pulled from the camera.. maybe I will try one day and see....
As far as getting hold of fp-3000b.... I get mine from B+H in NYC... with the weak doller and strongish krone I save money, even after paying postage and VAT on import... not that I have seen it for sale much here in Norway anyway... but I generally order a big box of film from B+H when I need it and then the savings are worth it....
2008-01-21 // 15:43:03 paul_a_royd beautiful place and picture!
