i really love how you get this great contrast when you put it in noir shots. these power-line shots, classic

^ Thank you, Moss. Telephone poles are a fun subject to photograph because there's an endless supply of them. The color print really converts well in b/w. I seem to get more subtle gradation with color followed by scan-conversion than I do with straight b/w material.
