I'm still laughing, both at your photo and Stefan's comments. That's a very strange outfit Mr. Woodpecker is wearing. I don't recognize it. Looks like Mickey donned a black turtle neck for the occasion too. I love Mickey's smile as he attempts to conceal the blade.

This is like a colorful, cartoon Weegee photograph. And the title is fantastic: part Dorothy L. Sayers (the British mystery writer), part Anthony Trollope—"He Knew He Was Right," "Can You Forgive Her?" etc.
