The hat. Like that hat. I am also having fun squinting a bit and pretending that it is not a hat, but your real hair. A medium-sized Afro.

And of course it is a strong, intellectually soulful portrait. And by "intellectually soulful" I mean I really like your collar.

In the background, is that the sky, or snow sitting on a sloping roof? I think the sky. When I look at it I see the sky. But when I look at the poet I have the impression of a roof weighed down by snow behind him.

How long? I wait exactly 124 seconds. I allow myself four extra seconds for the four times during the development when I begin daydreaming and forget to count. (I have only broken watches.)
