Ah, the roots of the sljivovica that traveled by bus become clear. It all began with Signor Marchelo's portrait, and a comment box.

indeed. (or even before, as to be read there)

and now for easter, the sljivovica travelled with me even a bit further, to the countryside again, to friends.

yummy.
love to enjoy
and share the joy

yes, it's greek. and in fact i made a typo with the polish one... should be 'na zdrowie', but in fact it's means the same... - 'to health'. yes, in poland be believe drinking is healthy :o)
^
ok, so - why not also greek. not to be scoffed at either.

(oh, I believe likewise. isn't it?)

thank you for those links--the first is a great portrait--is this who you got the secret precious liquid from? i love plum wine, but somehow i have a feeling that this is much much stronger and not as sweet!

not from the man on the great portrait, but from the great man behind the camera

share--i can't wait! but what is it--is it vodka? is it +expensive+ vodka? i'm not used to the expensive stuff, you know...only a little might set me off into gales of laughter...(is there a duck somewhere on the label?)
^
oh, yummy destilled, or even double-destilled out of plums, handmade, strong. see here »link and here »link (no ducks. but maybe you see some ;-) then i will tune in your laughter. and probably would have to bring you to bed again).
oh, it smells good as well.

ahem. obviously, you have been hiding this in that little hole in the wall in the attic. when we help j. with his laundry, i will run back up to the attic, in order to "get some more detergent" so don't be surprised if this little glass is drained by the time you finish drying the towels.

and then i will be giggling loudly.

^
oh. no.
it is in the OTHER attic.
a precious gift it is. therefore to be shared, my angel, and not hidden at all. you will have to come here. - but. girl, i said shared. not abused.
(do I have to remind you how loud you get, when you had a bit too much? the walls here are very thin.)

Liquor smuggling across the border - is this a subtle way to tell me that the Swedish vodka I bring you just isn't good enough? Hmpf.

(Well worth not sleeping for. Well worth.)

^
indeed, indeed. now I just wait till the sun sets, to finish the glass (of course, in the morning, I only sipped a bit. just for the taste. a little bit.)

(it's not smuggling - we are european - no? ;-)
oh, and.. swedish? no way. so that's why you brought it in waterbottles.
