i don't know if cornwall has cable... what company? how much is it?

i thought about sky - but even then you still need a BT line. and what's most annoying is my house used to have a phone line, so all they have to do is flick a switch saying ON. how can that cost 120£? it's all your fault. i'm taking it personally. ;)

apparently cos i turned off the phone three years ago that means they charge, whereas if i'd turned it off in the last year i'd have it gratis.

^ I have NTL aka Virgin, but I wouldn't recommend them. I've been with them for years and their service is much to be desired from my personal experience, I'm just too lazy to do anything about it. I'm on a £25/month 4mb broadband tariff. No BT line required though. It is crazy with the whole connection fee, you'd think that they'd welcome new customers - not hound them at the door. What would Bob do?

i know i am a very bad business partner ;-)

i don't have internet at home at the moment (last three weeks or so now), so trying to fit in aroudn my hectic work.

i might have to rectify the net situation and get busy, but it measn getting a BT line installed and i just don't have the 120£ connection fee. At the moment i nick it from next door but they're renovating the side of the house where my cable goes in - so i'm scuppered. and don't know if they'll bother to hook me back up. swines. i did some free labour to get that free net as well!! but i feel quite cheeky saying, "err excuse me but err could i please have my lifeline back err please...?"

got lots of pics to scan and all... but bit dishonest to do on work time (despite the odd bit of typing like this, cos you still look busy typing!)

^ :) It's been weeks since I've seen the sea! I've contemplated actually taking a trip to the sea to fill in the void! but no worries on the business front, i've been pretty slack with the canvas stuff myself. been working on a couple of websites to get some money for materials. we'll get there, in our own steam. as an aside: with regards to BT line, I have cable internet which means no need for BT. I shall await new uploads with bated breath
