I'm feeling a bit guilty because I inadvertently hit her three weeks before, while I was cleaning her carpet. She was 10 and a half years old (!)
On the last days she knew her destiny, non more sleeping and always staring far away... as she was looking for the right place.

^ Oh, no, don't feel guilty. Obviously, you took such wonderful care of her, and I'm sure she sensed that. Beautiful, what you wrote. It's heartbreaking to watch animals during their last days... I hope you'll be able to think to better memories of her with time.
