this is great, really good composition. are you really sticking your pola with all that developing goo on the sides onto your scanner?!?!

oh--thank you! ummm, so i don't have a scanner...i go to kinko's to scan. and they love the goo. they do. they gave me a free purple nylon FedEx/Kinko's backpack today, and told me i am valued as a customer.

(i wipe the goo off right away, using my fingerless gloves!)

A whole Tower of Babel alleyway crammed into your frame. Brilliant!

I love how the gate seems to be hinged to the right side of the picture. Almost as if it has just swung open, allowing us to step inside the composition.

You could bottle this picture and call it Eau de Brooklyn Tenement.

i love this alley! seemed to me like a movie set, designed by someone far away who had never been to new york city. the color was amazing...just too cold and dark, so everything turned purple-blue. but i love those homemade passageways between the buildings.
