Oh. Oh. This is so interesting to me. You see, I don’t like sound asleep dreaming, not really. But I *love* daydreaming. I daydream more or less constantly. All day long with eyes wide open.

I like daydreams because I can control them, in a lazy sort of way. They are tethered lightly to me, like balloons wrapped around my fingers. I can pull them gently back to earth when I am done daydreaming.

Because I am awake the whole time, and conscious of letting my mind drift in pleasant and whimsical directions, I am never disappointed like when I wake up after a lovely dream and realize, Oh fuck, none of that happened.

Anyway, I promise you this comment isn’t supposed to be about me. It’s about your pictures. What I am trying to say is that I love how your eyes are open. And how the little snippets of paper look like cloud puffs. I am imagining nearly invisible gossamer threads running from each piece of paper back down to your eyes.

When you are done dreaming you reel in the cloud puff paper dreams, and hide them wherever it is you store your imaginings. (I keep mine in the pantry, behind the biscuits.)
