^ the miniportrait you mean? yeah it's back to life! i really dont know what happened before... i think it might have to do with the release cable. it was brandnew but didnt seem to work. Now am using an older one and i've had no problem... hehe :) |

sadly i am still on the lookout for one. i must have one! hopefully one will pop up on eBay soon. i am sorry to hear that some of the ID film was bad. that is really weird since it is still relatively new. i haven't actually tried any myself yet, so i will test some soon and see what i get. i have been so busy with school that i have not had much time for photographs or polanoid lately. hopefully summer will inspire me!

^ yeah i was surprised too! especially coming from a 2007 stock... she said it was only one twinpack though - the others were ok. Hehe, that's polaroid though, always a surprise - good or bad, but good most of the time ;) I truly hope you find your lens! cant believe no one here hasnt heard of one or even got one for you... Goodluck with your school! im well busy schoolwise too, but as it's mostly homework, i cant resist the temptation to take pictures / come to polanoid all the bloody time! |

cause u´re right, the cameras are too heavy. the cams are alawys the reason for me taking the big bagpack on my trips :)
btw, are u something like a math - genius? because then u could calculate how many balloons we need.

i think it's so funny, how people seem fascinated and repulsed at the same time! the other day, a friend and i tried our first transfer, and suddenly there were three people there watching us! it was so embarrassing, and the transfer didn't really work out, but there was a question and answer period afterwards...then other people came up to tell me that my camera is obsolete!
ah well--addiction leads to shame and misunderstanding...;)

hee hee--yes! i had to pay for those balloons ;) one had popped by the time i got them home, and two more when they went out the window--not as lovely a bouquet as yours...so i will be searching the skies today!
p.s.--also, i love your new experiments with the dastardly 600 film-- amazingly soft tones you've gotten!

^ haha ;) you bought some! had always wanted to make balloon shots too, so was so pretty excited when i saw these from afar. i didnt have my camera on me the first time though, so went back just for them. ANd then went back another time to catch them with the miniportrait. Was so funny cos there was a guy working there who noticed i came three times - i felt pretty ashamed - especially when he wanted to see what kind of pics the miniportrait could make. I showed him this shot and he went "yeah not bad. such a weird idea though, to be using these cameras nowadays..." i felt so misunderstood!! so am glad someone here understands me ;)) ps: thanks about the 600 shots. Trying to get rid of their nasty colour, but it aint easy! :) |
