Ok, well: in the late 90s Monsieur De Caunes (with an 's' as it turns out) hosted a short-lived talk show (which was interspersed with sketches and whatnot) called Le Show.

It was generally brilliant, but one of the very finest moments was undoubtedly De Caune's interview with David Ginola - throughout the questioning, a little girl sat beside Ginola (the girl may have been played by a man, I couldn't say for certain) who stared at him unblinkingly while eating an ice-cream (which she would periodically top up from a can of squirty cream) and uttering in an awestruck voice, "Ginola?"
It was the greatest mement in television history. Of course, I can't find any reference to it on youtube or anywhere else... I suppose only about five people watched it, let alone recorded it. Sigh.

Aren't you glad you asked?

Jon.
This one's great too. A classic girl-with-ice-cream pose (which reminds me of something so fantastically obscure it's probably not even worth mentioning. Trust me though, it was brilliant. Antoine de Caune was involved).

actually if it involves Antoine de Caune then I want to know, he is hilarious!
