So this will be a little bit long sorry:
This could sound weird but:

- Many pictures looks like yours...
But i really don't like the others and i like yours.. That's the difference and that's what is important: Yours are always better and different, they have some kind of a soul!

- Being copied is not really a problem every body copies someone else. Unconsciously I'm sure you do the same. You know what you've done and it's the only things that matters. You should even be proud. Of course i understand that it is getting on your nerves.

-That makes you go in an other direction... and obviously you do!
go on!

- I almost blush when i saw your picture this afternoon: It was just like when you open a door in a place where your are not supposed to be.. you blush and you say "oh sorry!" and I immediately closed my computer window! as if i was stealing something of your privacy.
(even if no-one was able to see my screen) Giving something of you, making people react that's why you do and show pictures. So you succeed in what you want.

- This music, i didn't know, is beautiful

- This clip is great and every one here in polanoïd should thank you to show this very nice clip ( it's nice not only because of the polaroids) and thanks even if you didn't know it at first.

-All i write is too long too much blah blah i feel like being an french boy in the USA writing in the neewsfeed.

- The last day's accident in the neewsfeed was stupid but, as someone says... What a beautifull day so many nice pictures today. That's why nobody should leave polanoid..

- Don't worry about beeing inspired.. the weather was not so nice and in spring the sky can be cloudy and it sometimes rain...

- I'm quite long because you didn't upload picture for a few days.

^ hahha. oh wow, yeah you did a bit of a fred on that one ;) so strange what you said about that privacy issue. You really felt like you were stealing some of my intimacy watching this? Maybe that's cos you know me in real life now. It's always different when you know the real people and not just their images. You dont see them in the same way. Also, yeah i know what you mean about the copy/inspiration thing. Of course, as i said, everyone gets inspired by others and thats the beauty of it. I'd never have started polaroid if i hadnt seen other people's pictures, like Franck's, or Soreal's or Carmen's, or LiA's, to name but a few. They were truly an inspiration. But i never wanted to copy them. Anyway, i know it's all a bit irrational, but you know, at some point i felt like i was losing my soul here, giving it to be stolen by others. And it really hurt me and made me sad, whether i wanted it or not. That's something you cant really control, im afraid... But thanks alot for your encouraging words, cyriLLe. They mean a lot to me... really. thanks :)

I know what you mean about flickr, had the same issue with the speck of light technique. I've just noticed loads of people here have started to use typex or scraps of paper (in the very same fashion, how stupid!), then dirty borders. Some of them did it as a tribute without forgetting to mention your name, a cute gesture but others just helped themselves.
You've got plenty to offer ( more than they do anyway) so f*** them, you rock :)

^ well i gotta say the dirty borders thing aint from me really. i openly copied it from my.iowa whose work i totally love. And i didnt forget to tell her so. And yeah, as you said, dont mind people being inspired. It's even flattering. And i always get my inspiration from other shots i've seen too. But copying without offering anything new just freaks me out. I hate copycats and i hate plagiarism - maybe cos i always have to be so fucking careful about the sources i use in my phd... i so dont wanna sound like a psychorigid pretentious cunt or whatever, though. Too late now :p Thanks for sharing your thoughts, sweetie. And again, thanks so much, this really cheered me up...

hanging from the ceiling? dang! I love the blur, it adds to the softness. I kinda understand why you're feeling fed up and all... The tension was too much and the battle, well, ridiculous that's why I'm so happy to see posts like yours or the GC's, the likeness in the position is like a sweet and sensual dialogue in the pool. I was wondering, maybe I'm going too far, if you were not bothered as well by the fact that people were stealing "your dirty borders/ handwriting" and all. You've got your style and even if some people are trying to imitate it, they can't be you. This polaroid is good enough to prove it.xxx

^ yeah, im trying to experiment different places in my flat... that one was pretty dangerous and my 340 nearly got killed in the process! And yeah, bloody hell, i was so tired of that neverending fight in the newsfeed yesterday. so ridiculously childish and out of purpose... really did my head in. I dont really like to admit, but yes, i guess you're right too about this "style" issue. i certainly dont wanna sound pretentious or anything, but yeah, seeing other pics that somehow looked a lot like mine (esp those with white handwriting), has sometimes made me feel robbed and betrayed, and made me want to just stop uploading stuff at all. That's probably a silly reaction (especially as i didnt invent tippex!), but it has made me very very sad, and has triggered some sort of identity crisis within me that i really didnt need at the moment. To be honest, thats the major reason why i've considered quitting polanoid, even before that stupid fight started yesterday. I've seen some other pics on flickr as well, that totally robbed my idea of the scraps of paper with written words stuck on pola. I dont really know how to explain this, but it just made me feel sick and made me wanna stop making pictures. Hence the lack of production these days. Anyway thankyou for your words. It's funny you noticed that, cos i tried my best not to show... clever girl ;)
