g.
i remember it as well when you peeled them, and this old 108 actually still worked. but found them (the expired effects) just too much back then.
but now, with the text, i love them to pieces.

i really like the way you work with polaroid. sensitive. but you know that.

thank you g. although, simple thank you doesn't really fit here.

but i can't find any other words now.

so thank you.

oh my. please ignore my measly comment and allow me to say "Can't but wonder what the same scene would have looked like..."! i love that comment, and i am stealing it!! yes, exactly. the film needed to end up in your hands. ;)

Stealing is bad, my friend :o)

But I still love what you said now and before.

Can't but wonder what the same scene would have looked like 20 years ago, when the film was still fresh. You know, there's so many moments when this film could have been used during that time. An infinite of moments. And all the while it probably secretly hoped to be spared so that it would eventually wound up in your hands. I like to think that this exact moment, with the Conquerer planing his next move on top of his Bomb, was what it was meant for. My favorite.

beautifully said. and what a great thought!

I just love what you wrote here.

amazing! the shot with its strange proportions of small person, large object, trees; combined with those colors...and 20 years expired! you work such magic with expired films.
