Are the dunes really this white? it really looks like snow.

^ I don't know either, I was wondering what it was since it showed up on a lot in this pack. Some dunes are probably pretty yellow but this particular dune was super white. I guess it depends on what it's made from..the area is very salty, too, so I bet that gets mixed in from wind.
