2008-07-28 // 00:28:24 orezemit i must say that when i think of you i think of both flowers and architecture, and the self portraits as well. i don't really consider myself a people photographer either, with the exception of my children. i still have some bit of power over them. ;) when it comes to shooting strangers i'm too nervous or something. just can't do it. i prefer still lifes and seascapes. occasionally architecture - when it's interesting to me. bottom line - i really want you to shoot that 665. it's great film & don't underestimate your talent. it's there. maybe you just don't see it yet.
^
thank you very much. i understand that your point. shooting people just reqires a lot of extroverteniness. (you know what i mean).. that i probably just don´t have. so maybe the pack of 665 may just be wasted on another nude girl. ( i think there is an awful lot of them on te internet , already, anyway. )..damn. it is not just horrible, that we have to *think* about that dammned film? (ok..last year i never would have thought about buying 665 for 25Euros...now i would jump at the opprtunity.)
2008-07-27 // 23:57:17 orezemit fp100c? i thought you were speculating in 665 these days? ;)
fp100c is still pretty cheap though. and it's fresh. tough to find fresh 665. tougher to find a decent k.c. movie. you better shoot your 665 Arne. use the 600SE for that. half for flowers and half for the model you're going to hire. perhaps she'll work for a nice bunch of flowers.
^
i was thinking about all that "paying-for-a-model-thing"- i guess i´m better at shooting flowers, anyway. maybe someday there will be a good looking women asking me to take pictures of her, or it will be not...i think i´m good at doing what i like. architecture and flowers. i´m thinking of opening an internet-.shop and selling my original polaroids...should get me some money..maybe.
2008-07-27 // 23:40:01 orezemit sane? not me. i've made a pinhole camera out of a "Dukes of Hazard" lunchbox. i've only made a couple of shots with it though. i need to attach a pola back to it & start using it again. i could even attach a sound device to it so it makes a motor drive noise just like the Reporter camera i saw in a really crappy Kevin Costner movie last night. that was about 15 minutes into the movie & i turned it off after that.
^
yeah..kevin costner is the other side of insanity...and all the other people willing to invest millions into crappy movies...on the other hand i´m thinking of selling my telecom shares and invest it into fuji fp 100 c films...
2008-07-27 // 23:27:36 orezemit this photo makes me want to tinker some more. i have too many ideas and not enough patience or talent or film. keep this up Arne. good to see some experiments here.
^
i wish i had talent. ..i just have some free time...:-)
but i really enjoy tinkering..and i enjoy talking to people like you. any other "sane" people would just ask: you did what? spend a few hours to make... what?
2008-07-27 // 23:06:43 orezemit i salute your persistence and ingenuity Arne.
i guess the instax lens is about 75mm judging from your results. i once attempted to attach an izone back to a nikon body but failed. i mangled two izones and one nikon in the effort.
^
thank you. i think the main problem is, that the instax back has to be mounted vertically and at the rigt side of the 600Se..so , although the picure format of the fuji instax-film is nearly the same as a polaroid type 100 film, i had to use the 75mm lense, that just covers more space...otherwise i get black margins...like that on the left side of that picture here..lets just say..it can be done, and i guess that some better tinkerer than me can get better results
