Right, yes, I have had the same problem. It gets boring using the same effect over and over. But I sometimes open the camera and push the black card back in on top of the unexposed pictures, then I take out the cartridge and change to a different filter. You could try that.

Grey watercolours on acetate sounds like a good idea. Your effect here is subtle but still noticeable.

Was this one a cartridge manipulation? (I'm trying to work out which ones you mean). The texture on this one is great. Do you put the black edge directy onto the Pola? What do you use to make it?

Hi! I've glue, with adhesive tape, a transparent plastic sheet (acetate i think...you can find it in every stationer's shop) drawned with watercolor (a light grey) and simple water (in my city the water from tap is full of limestone that leave texture when is dried). Black edge is directly onto the pola. I use little engraving instruments.
The lack is that you have the same texture for all 10 pictures of the cartridge....
I hope my english is not so horrible to give you an idea....
