the thing "behind" is that working artisticallly means more to me than searching for a text which fits the picture, but you are right its subjective and if its your style so its fine, the people like it...i think to much bla,bla is often necessary to legitimate photos which are in some way "nice" but not more...but dont take this personal i mean it generally, its a problem i have with this style, conceptual, yes but the product isn't always as good as the concept...if its a work of art theres no need to explain, its lordly...no words...if its a photo, well then just dont try to make more of it...

^ not the way I feel about it actually, you are making a suggestion in a demanding way, and I at least find that very appealing. People are very stubborn when it comes to making changes, so rarely anything but radical provocation or intensive suggestions get through to people, so you do have my support-I talked about this a few months ago myself and do rarely but afterall suggest how a photo in my personal opinion could be improved. But those things to most people are more subjective than anything. But feel free to voice your words in my gallery. I did not find your last one any critical or helpful despite towards the way of commenting on the site, and that the image did not convince you, but that does not make a helpful or constructive critic but simply voices an opinion without anything behind it. *shrug* All the best :-) -Lia |

so dont you think its boring just to hear beautiful n'stuff, seriously? doesnt makes you sceptic? i think nearly every polaroid somehow looks special, but just because its the polaroid thing...but if you see this picture in a dentists waiting room you would not recognize...i was thinking for a while if i should post because i really dont want propagate bad mood, but thats what iam thinking...i really like a lot of your pics...

^ No, no worries, I agree, but this is not a place where people come to improve art but to show family relatives pictures etc :-) Not everyone here is like you and me. So feel free to give critism to me, but I doubt everyone wants it. I tried and burnt my foot, which was ok, I understand that people have different approaches and intentions to and with the medium and I easily accept that and like it even. I work conceptually and "artistically" so for me it is a different approach than for mothers and fathers showing cats and grandmas, so *shrug* .-) I would never want my work in a dentist-room btw. ;-) |

gibts hier irgendwo auch kritische geister oder findet jeder alles immer nur "beautiful" und "fantastic"? wenn der text a priori, sozusagen das motiv für das bild war würd ich es schon ganz gelungen finden umgekehrt wärs wohl eher schwach...also wenns hier um die bilder geht???
