voted for it long time ago, coming back to it browsing through joster favourites - oh my. I get a vague idea now of what i could get. good stimulation, level set high... the story is the following: i have the predecessor of this lens, the uncoated anastigmat. pretty beaten up, but as long as light comes through... and came across a 8x10 processor with a sealed pack of slighty expired 809. so i will use this lens, it should barely cover the format with a nice vignetting. fingers crossed film and machine are still good, and my attempts to build something lighttight to get it all together turn out well.
I just feel the urge to use 8x10 polaroid once in my life!

Thanks G. Yes I love this little lens.. so much so that I am planning on mounting it on another lensboard and using it with my shen.hao 4x5 which makes taking portraits a whole lot easier due to the totating back...
so you found a 8x10 polaroid machine and some film? you lucky man... I have allways had the urge to shoot some portraits in 8x10 and one day I shall, but will just have to live with the fact that it will have to be on "ordinary" film... oh well, I guess we should be happy that sheet film seems to be staying with us for the forseeable future at least...
Good luck with the 8x10, and be sure to post the results here :)
