^ I'd say that was a perfect alternative to a mask. How about doing that face with the glasses and holding up something like a large spiral-patterned lollipop or a toffee apple? Or possibly a small cake with a cherry on top? Something like that would hit just the right level of absurd creepiness. (Nobody wants to think about prior hotel room occupants having eaten sickly food in their room.) Or is your hair quite long? Could you manage ribboned pigtails? Hair curlers? An apron and a wooden spoon? This is fun.
