Were there always kids this self-assertingly and self-assuredly stylish? Most baffling. And a beautiful picture.

my sister (who is older than me i should point out :-)) - apparently kept trying to dress me up in a yellow dress when i was born ... but i kept screaming until she was forced to leave me alone!! she still hasn't forgiven me for spoiling her fun :-) - beautiful set of portraits once again, the light in them is just perfect.

i am a big sister.when we were little (only 11 months between us) i remember putting lipstick on my brother and actually shaved one of his eyebrows off!i also shaved off the side of his hair (above the ears) quite drastically.he looked crazy!

aw, i had the same with my little brother. he always wanted to be like me so he would wear my old dresses and clips in his hair. i think at that age, or even when your older, people shouldnt be made to conform to a dress code because of their gender.

beautiful portrait, I have not shot the fuji film in my 600SE, but after seeing these I'm going to have to give it a go....which lens is this ? the 150mm ?

i feel like ive indruded on something by reading the comments but i just wanted to say I love it when children wear what they want.... i know a girl just like the girl in this photo - she's so glam is almost funny and yet her mother is just a tom boy and lets her kid do it because that's her.... I myself was more fond of as many ribons as i could find around my waste aged 3.

thanks. they have their own minds and characters.my neighbours little boy has spent all day in a denim skirt today because he wanted to wear the same as his twin sister. he's lucky that his dad is cool enough to not care what other people might think.

I see your point, and agree from front to back then :-) know too many mothers who make their kids look that way against their will (like thoser wings or ladybug-costumes etc etc - I have only bad experience with it) so sorry I assumed that direction (well, if I REALLY had assumed it I'd maybe written it differently I guess) so it is cool to have those two girls be so different as well! :-) Ophelia reminds me of myself back then..colourwise still the same actually.

little lady noir in a light way, very beautiful, to, though I PERSONALY at THIS very moment am not too much into dressing kids TOO much male or female, but just..like a kid, without too much orientation. No idea, I might be werd, please don't feel offended, I find it very cute and pretty, too.
She looks alot like you in this one actually! :-D

i know what you mean but this one was born to dress up i'm afraid.(and it is her birthday so she's ultra sparkly today more so than usual) if it isn't pink and doesn't sparkle she won't wear it. most days i struggle to get her dressed in ' normal 'clothes.she goes on the school run in a tutu.Ophelia on the other hand only wears black or army green and skater style.
I'm not offended! if you can't wear dayglo pink wellies and ballet clothes to the supermarket aged 3, when can you?
