I get the impression that the two Hs depicted sense one another's presence and feel apprehensive as a result. Having read your comment-reply below I can't help but wonder whether this happens to her when thinking of her mother (the sensing, not the apprehension, necessarily.)

yes enjoy this double alot! A friend from the birthday party?

^ H is O's best friend. she lives across the road from us.we moved here a year ago and i became close friends with her dad. her mum died of cancer a month before we moved in and he was on his own looking after h and her twin brother and sister (aged3 - -best friends of Iris!) anyway she volunteered herself when i asked them all if i could try out a double exposure (my two need bribing nowadays)
