Well i always thought that, but recently i had a problem with a total fucking idiot. long story, but basically they couldn't pay for some film they bought off me. i said "look i'm going to open a dispute thing so i can get my FVF back. don't worry, just agree that we couldn't complete the transaction and all will be fine". the idiot then told ebay that they had paid and i'd posted the film to them, thus closing the dispute thing.

i went mental and banned them from bidding on anyhting else of mine in the future. but the ebay people really helped me get my money back so i quite like them now and found them helpful in this case.

^ i have had some psycos on ebay doing things like filing unpaid item disputes on me when i had paid by cheque and they had cashed it, and also some idiot who refused to send to my mum's US address even though they'd agreed in the first place and that was the only reason i decided to bid, then forced me to pay $400 shipping...loads of crap. I am getting seriously pissed off with ebayers...

Well, i found the ebay help people really err helpful.
Just make sure you have your dispute console open asap. If not, you may be out of luck...

i thought it smelled a bit fishy (cos of the prices and the amount he said he had) so only bought a twin pack. and glad i did now...

i would open a dispute console as soon as possible, to make sure it's in the time frame allowed for a complaint. if you like i'll send you the email he sent me saying "it's not my fault, i'll refund etc etc". he has now, finally, refunded me.

what a wanker that guy must be...

my policy now is never buy anything unless it is posted recorded delivery that way you have some protection from bastards like this.

^ yes...i am royally pissed off- have emails from him saying he will refund and postponing and postponing and now its a month and a half down the line line. I thought it was fishy but at the time he had faultless feedback- not the case now! its all a little disasterous. If you could send me your email too that would be brilliant. Yup. He was one. Auto bought off him too and Loosetooth and loads of others on here (cos it was so cheap).

I think he did have some stock and posted that, which you can see in his feedback, but nowhere nearly as much as he said he had.

^ did he refund though? I think he was using it as a loan- he was so insistent on getting the money asap and i noticed as soon as i purchased, more kept on being listed. I know Gav bought from him- he actually called me to tell me about it! I bought $1600 worth and he has not refunded me and it was on my credit card so i have been paying charges and interest on it - for something i have never received. I am seriously debating what to do.

Well i've won a couple of auctions lately, but mysteriously the stuff has never turned up. In one case i don't think it was never planned to be posted and in the other i think the guy thought i didn't won it for enough and just pretended it got lost. Anyway, they both refunded so no sweat. Not like someone about a year ago, who i won 6 films off that didn't show... and no refund.

There's absolutelydefinitelyonehun dredpercent life after sx70 though.

Really liking the pastel rainbow... Never really had a film that did that. And judging by my luck on ebay at the moment i won't anytime soon.

^ I know this film came out very weirdly..i wish i had brought a flash- i went all the way to the caribbean with it and left the flashes in my room...i am so pissed off about it... i end up winning sx-70 auctions but only as i am mad and willing to pay exorbitant prices! i am useless at shooting with other films too...when i can't get sx-70 i think polaroid will be dead for me...
