2008-09-24 // 10:59:46 CDR I've got a strange fascination with Sorbus species, so it's nice to see this one in sx70 glory.
Of the UK's 70 or so native trees the only endangered 12 are all Sorbus's scratching survival in populations of 10s or 100s if they're lucky.

Well I'm sorry to hear about how the UK's Sorbus is thriving. There are plenty here in the Pacific Northwest of the US. Its neat to see someone else recognize what this shrub really is. Have you ever seen robins get inebriated on these berries, Its quite a funny sight to see. Cheers!
