y'know the trick is to get those frolicking girls to want to come and see the horses and the trees (I'll leave the toys out for now), I've just been staring out the window at the Mizen (our version of Land's End) and feeling blessed to be here but a lamppost in the field adorned with a bit of frolicking wouldn't go amiss..... we'll have to make our peripheral region landscape pics more inviting.

I think you're on to something there. I think what the Mizen needs is a nice subtle french cafe and promenade and what Land's End needs is a complete demolishen job. It's probably the tackiest place in the land. The Lizard on the other hand, now that must have something to attract camera wielding girls and their lamp-posts.

Toys optional.

gothic tragedy? Not sure this genre actually exists as such though. I love it.

Hmmm. I think that sounds like a very good genre (if it doesn't exist you have just invented it).

Do you see what I have to make do with taking photos of?? You have romantic rivers and frolicking girls. I have toys, horses and trees. Life isn't fair.
