Yes it can be done with black and white (i've made it) but you have to do it with very hot (boiling) water and the emulsion is very thin.

^ Thanks moonalisa! :) Yes, it's quite hard, especially if you don't have any tools like me, I had to improvise a place to mount the panorama... but it's really fun!! I've seen you have done some lifts, too; it's cool :) Can this be done with bw polaroid film? I have read somewhere that not all types of film work...
