^ I was so scared just walking on it. The wind made it creak, and sometimes we could even see the water shift under the ice...I want to do it again now that it's below zero, but this lake is 4 hours away.

^ Today in class we visited a nature preserve that was converted from a uranium cleanup facility...on the way we saw so many frozen ponds and rivers sparkling in the sunlight. It was almost as nice as the day I took this...
