it's just too easy to comment on the clarity of this image. we all see that. Fontinalis says much of what i would say too. but as always i see such care taken in the subtle details here. the composition, just off center enough to make it more real. the exposure, well it's perfect, i think. the tonality, whether you set this up or just set the camera there, it doesn't matter. what matters is either way you saw this and you captured it as well as could be done. thanks.

I like the colors, so subtle, the light greys and the light greens (on my screen anyway). But also, by leaving this big border of Polaroid material, the warm tone of the bottle echos with the warmer tone of the border. And it creates this effect of 'mise en abyme' (sorry, I don't know the English word), a window in a window, etc. Love the play of the various degrees of transparency from the various glass - bottles and window panes. Lots of 'rimes plastiques', for instance the obliques of the objects in the vase vs the obliques of the tree trunk and branches, the slight oblique of the window sill vs the picture frame, the repetition of bottles, the repetition of window panes, etc. This is such a gem : the hues, the composition, and more. And again, this feel of quietness, of standstill objects, of reflectiveness. We cannot but think of Time. And of things ephemeral. And beauty of simple every day objects. It is all so palpable.
